Reporting Abuse
How to report content that violates the rules, including copyright notices.
Last updated: July 15, 2026
If you find content on a Ransack-hosted site that violates the Acceptable Use Policy or infringes your rights, report it and we will review promptly.
How to report
Email abuse@ransack.io with:
- The exact URL(s) of the content.
- What the problem is (which policy it violates, or what rights it infringes).
- Enough context for us to assess it — and a way to reach you if we have questions.
We review reports promptly, and we act on violations by removing content, suspending the site, or terminating the organization, as the severity warrants. Emergencies involving imminent harm should also be reported to law enforcement.
Copyright (DMCA) notices
To report copyright infringement, email abuse@ransack.io with a notice containing:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material on a Ransack-hosted site.
- Your contact information (name, address, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We remove or disable access to material identified in valid notices and terminate repeat infringers' organizations. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with the corresponding statutory elements.
